Read, John H. on Monday August 28, in his 77th year of Lloyd Harbor. Beloved husband of Carol. Loving father of Chris Read and daughter-in-law Rosie; and Eric Read and daughter-in-law Jenn. Fond grandfather of Carl, Makayla, Julianna, Austin, Jack, and Olivia. A Graduate of University of Colorado, School of Engineering. John went on to be a Civil Engineer by trade, and worked on major infrastructure projects locally and around the world. Visitation Thursday 5-8 PM at Nolan & Taylor-Howe Funeral Home, 5 Laurel Avenue Northport. In lieu of flowers, donations to www.911memorial.org, in John's memory would be appreciated.
