I don’t know how many years I have known Dennis, or when he and his family first started visiting Carol on Fern Lake in New York, but I do know that from the first time I met him, I knew he had the unique quality of being someone everyone immediately felt comfortable with. He has been such a great friend not only to my sister, Carol, but to my entire family, and we will miss him. Rest in Peace, Dennis—your journey is complete.

Dennis was such a wonderful friend to my sister Carol for so many years, in fact I don't ever remember visiting Carol in Delaware without seeing Dennis, it always felt like he was a part of our family too. My sincerest condolences to his family - he was a great man and will be missed and fondly remembered.

Many of us who have worked with Dennis will miss him dearly. Even though he retired from DuPont 16 years ago, he left a tall shadow, never knowing when there would be a get together in the Newark area where he was always the party leader. He enjoyed himself by seeing others enjoying themselves. I personally have lost one of the best friends I ever had. My heartfelt feelings go out to Mary, Dan and Tom and all his family. I cannot him resting in peace; he's got to be doing something somewhere, that's just the way he was.
