I am so sorry to learn of Kay's passing. We went to school together and played basketball together. She was such a great blend of sweet and kind and sarcastic. She could always crack me up. I'm so sorry for your loss. Please know I will act in kindness many times with kay in mind. In sympathy, Lisa Saisselin McDonald

Kaye was very funny, and although I only saw her a few times since high school, I cherish those meetings. Ran into Kaye once taking the train from the city back to Huntington, and we had a wonderful conversation. Sad news, she will be missed. Hugs to her family and friends. Irv.

So sad to hear the news. We were West 65th Street neighbors. I liked Kay from the start- she was kind, smart, fun and always ready for a laugh. Her life ended too soon and she'll be greatly missed.

Kay's laughter and big heart are what I loved best about her. Her enthusiasm and love for her friends, family and our high school class were infectious. All we did was laugh getting ready for the homecoming activities, helping build a giant gingerbread house to be installed in the gym. Later, I'd see her at Oneonta and more laughter. Our high school reunion at Meehan's she was instrumental in planning and executing, more laughter and the sun was up before we knew it and it wasn't the first time we were kicked out of places, laughing. Kay was kind enough to support her friends and their artistic achievements and was always a friend, supporter, cheerleader, just the kindest. Keep laughing and loving. We're all better for having known you.
Godspeed Kay.

Kay was a true character with SO much life in her. No one made me laugh more than Kay, ever. If you knew her, I'm sure you feel similarly blessed. And she really had a knack for understanding people, because she cared so much. Her presence will really be missed.

When Nich Galasso told me that Kay had passed I felt like I had been gut punched. We’re never ready for any of our friends to die, but Kay was a special person and the world wasn’t ready to lose her. She might have been THE most positive thinking person I knew. She was always ready to cheer you up, and her wit was as quick as a cat. She also was very important in bringing together the Class of ‘82 -and that was indeed a worthy accomplishment. This world is going to be a little less wonderful without Kay in it. Like I said, gut punched. Rest In Peace Kay, you will be truly missed!

Kay was such a wonderful person. I will always remember her warmth and kindness to me when I arrived in New York 20 years ago. And of course her sense of humour: in all of my memories of her we are laughing. I wish we'd had the chance to go on that roadtrip we were always planning.
