Obituary of Kathleen Ann Melia

Melia, Kathleen Ann "Kay" - On June 30th, 2019, of Centerport, 55 years of age. Born in Boston and raised on Long Island, Kay was the beloved daughter of Margaret (née Luskey) and the late Tom Melia. Loving sister of Tom (Amy), Tim (Debbie), Pat (Kathleen), and Terry Melia. Dear aunt of four nephews (Paddy, Sean, Kieran and Tomás) and five nieces (Casey, Erin, Alanna, Hannah and Dylan). Kay was a graduate of Harborfields High School and earned a B.A. in Speech Communication with a minor in Spanish from the State University of New York at Oneonta. She worked in various media and marketing research roles for companies based in New York City, Phoenix and Long Island. She was also an amateur actress who performed in local plays across Long Island. Visiting at Nolan Funeral Home, Friday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass Saturday at 10 AM at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church in Centerport. Interment will follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Huntington.
