I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Holland passing. When I went to Northport High School She was always the person you wanted to see in the morning. Always smiling and always had something cheerful to say to brighten your day. Over the years my husband Paul and I would see Mrs. Holland and she still had that wonderful way about her that left you feeling happy and lighter like nothing could weigh you down. Dottie was by far one of my favorite parishioners to encounter at Sunday Mass at St. Anthony of Padua. So devout in her beliefs and a spiritual influence in the community, she would brighten up your day with her infectious smile and warm personality. She will be SORELY missed!

Dot was always one of my favorite people in the Northport community.... she loved the kids ,loved creating memorable Homecomings, Proms , pep rally’s , and graduations ... Dot loved everything that was and is Northport .... she made each graduating class a SPECIAL ONE !! One of the most caring and genuine people in our school community...we are all better because of Dot Holland ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I am so very sorry to hear about Mrs. Holland's passing. She was such a beautiful woman, inside and out. I was blessed to have gotten to know her when I was a student at Northport High School in the 1980s and had the honor of working with her in the Pep Club. She WAS the TIGER SPIRIT and PRIDE of Northport. I will never forget how wonderful and kind she was to me and all the students at NHS. Love and prayers to her family and friends, especially to Karen. I pray that the many wonderful memories of times spent together bring them comfort and peace. May she rest in peace!

Karen I want to extend my deepest condolences on the passing of your mom. Heavens gain . She was a bright light here / we will see her shine in Jcs light even brighter when we get there . She’s gonna be missed but I have my memories . And You n the family are in my prayers .
