On Monday, January 18, 2021, Matthew Michael Marcisak died in Northport, New York. He was 46 years old. Matthew is survived by his parents Michael and Millie Marcisak of Northport; his sister Denise Rallo and brother-in-law Rich Rallo, brother Michael Marcisak Jr. and sister-in-law Helen Marcisak, sister Michelle Panetta, nieces and nephews Danielle and Richard Rallo, Christina and Gina Marcisak and Nicholas Panetta. Matthew was born on November 24, 1974 in Plainview, New York. He graduated from Northport High School in 1993 and went on to study at the Mannes School of Music in Manhattan. Matthew was a sensitive, kind and gentle soul. He was the type of person who said yes to any favor you asked of him. He loved his family deeply. Matt had a huge soft spot for animals; the sight of a dog or a rabbit would bring out his biggest smile. He also loved fishing, history, and hockey. But Matthew's ultimate passion was music. He was a talented bass guitarist, music producer and sound engineer. He had so much to offer but struggled to find his path, battling addiction and various ailments much of his adult life. Matthew fought long and hard to put that behind him and planned to begin working in music production again soon. Visitation for Matthew will be Friday, January 22, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m., at Nolan Funeral Home, 5 Laurel Avenue, Northport, NY 11768. Funeral Mass to be held Saturday, January 23, 10:00 a.m., at St. Philip Neri Church, 344 Main Street, Northport, NY 11768.
