Thoughts & prayers are with each of you at this very difficult time. I can not find the words to express my true feeling . She was an inspiration to so many people & will not be forgotten. I know she is at peace & know God has her in His arms.
We had our private times that meant so much to me. Her sweet smile is implanted in my mind.
Many Blessings to each of you.
Sent with Love.

What a wonderful friend Terry was - sweet, kind, beautiful. I first met Terry 48 years ago when we were secretaries at C.W. Post College and had lunch together nearly every day. Even after leaving Post, we continued to get together and remained forever friends. Terry was even one of my bridesmaids! I will cherise the memories and all the fun we had together. Rest in peace my dear friend.

Terry and I were co-workers at C.W. Post College. To say the experience was hilarious would be on point. As friends, we watched our lives unfold before us - our engagements, our weddings and our first homes. We double and triple dated with our friends from Post many times. Our husbands were our dates. My husband today remembered a letter Terry wrote him when he was in the hospital and quoted her uplifting kind words verbatim. We drifted apart soon after that time as life gets in the way. However, I can never forget the moment we were standing in the Great Hall of C.W.Post at a very conservative Christmas party - the music began playing and our husbands came dancing out of the sidelines dancing a polka. Terry and I were amazed. My dear friend, you have always owned a piece of my heart and always will. I was unaware of your illness. And, this last week for what I thought were unusual moments - you were on my mind - for days. Condolences to Scouty, your boys and your sister and brothers. May you Rest In Peace, my dear friend, til we meet again. Sincerely Judy and Rick Francis

Dear Teresa,
The best thing in life is all the love one can give and receive. You were generous, and you shared your love with everyone around you, even while you were in pain. I will never forget my first Christmas visit to you with my son Maciek. You welcomed us like royalty, you really were incredible, and I remember that you wanted to show us all of the US in such a short period of time. Even though my English was very poor, this wasn’t an obstacle and I really had a wonderful time. I am grateful that you came and visited me in Oslo and Krakow. Teresa you were beautiful, kind, and wonderful and you remain in my thoughts. Thank you for all the wonderful memories we have shared. My thoughts are with Scouty and your entire family.
Love, Grazyna I

Dear Teresa, You were a beautiful person that made an impression on everyone you met. You were kind, loving, caring, gentle, warm and incredibly motherly. You made people feel at home, and you always prioritized family. I am greatful that I had a chance to get to know you. I remember that when I first met you, you welcomed me with open arms. I cherish this moment, and hope that our families will continue to have this wonderful bond that you always encouraged. Farewell Teresa, you will be missed dearly. It is a relief that you no longer are suffering and are in a better place by our Heavenly Father. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Irena Iwanow

I remember the first time I met Teresa in 2000. It was so important for her dad that our families finally meet. I am so happy and greatful that I met Teresa because I found out that I had a wonderful, loving family across the Atlantic. Thanks to Teresa's warm, loving and wonderful hospitality I fell in love in NYC and in Teresa and her family. I cheerish the memories we have from our trip to NYC and from her trips to Norway,Poland and Cech Republic. My wife and I often speak and cheerish the memories from our last meeting in NYC when we were visiting Teresa at her house. We were just enjoying the day by the pool with a book and Teresa was so concern that we were bored. Teresa is one of the sweetest, most loving persons I have ever known. I remember all the laughter we had by the bond fire in Montauk, by her house, in Lake Placid, NYC and from her visit to Norway, Poland and Prague. You have always encouraged our family reunion, and I hope that the bond and love between our families will always be strong. Thank you for everything Teresa, your soul will always be in our hearts.

My heart goes out to the entire family. This is time for reflection. The world would a better place if everyone had Terri’s quick smile and kind heart. There are such fond memories when Terri would loan me her kayak so Scouty and I could go play in the Florida rivers. Returning sweaty and dirty Terri would greet us with dinner is ready and insist I join them. The fun conversations across the dinner table will be missed. It wouldn’t surprise me if Terri wasn’t having some fun conversations right now with her mother.

Teresa was not only a friend but an inspiration to all that knew her. She could walk for miles everyday and take time to stop and talk to neighbors. Teresa loved and adored her family. Her grandchildren became the love of her life, and her devotion to them was a sight to see. Teresa and Scouty were the very first neighbors to greet me when I moved here in 1978 from Brooklyn. We became fast friends and we walked with Christopher and my John every day. She was an amazing cook . I will truly miss her smile and sweet personality . God Bless you Teresa and your family. Love Theresa DeRosa

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Scouty and your family. We always admired and respected her passion for her family and the amount of love in her voice when she spoke about them. Her strength of character and determination through the her illness was something to be admired. Her beautiful smile and sweet personality will be sorely missed during our winter months in Airelle. Our beach and pool days will be memories we will treasure. We were certainly blessed to be considered her friend and part of her Airelle family. Our love and prayers are with all of you.
