The Funeral Mass and Burial have been rescheduled and are set for Thursday June 16, 2022, 10 AM at St. Philip Neri Church with the burial to follow after at Northport Rural Cemetery. Family and friends can gather at church shortly before Mass begins.

PERCIBALLI – John Perciballi, a loving family man and decorated member of Northport's soccer community, left this earth suddenly on June 8, 2022 at 81 years of age. Beloved husband of Norma Gaye, they were married 58 years and going strong. Loving and proud father of three: his late son Stephen, and two daughters Susan and Jennifer. He welcomed their spouses, Gregory Scott Irick (Susan) and Denise Perciballi (Stephen) into the family warmly. Adoring grandfather of six: Noelle, Stephen Jr., Leighann and Joseph Perciballi, Olivia and Logan Irick. Dear brother of Irma Paniccia, the late Dario Perciballi and the late Nancy Recine.

Outside of his professional pursuits, John was a lifelong advocate for soccer. He was President of the Northport Youth Center Soccer Club, and then went on to create, and manage as President, the Cow Harbor Soccer Club beginning in 1976 (now known as Northport Cow Harbor United). John enjoyed coaching his childrens' Cow Harbor travel soccer teams plus countless others after his children went off to college. At the time of his passing, he was the President of the Men's (Over 40) Soccer League of Long Island. For his dedication to the sport, he was inducted to the Long Island Junior Soccer League's Hall of Fame in 2003.

Visiting hours: Nolan Funeral Home, 5 Laurel Avenue, Northport, on Sunday, June 12th and Monday, June 13th from the hours of 2-5 PM and 7-9 PM.
