Richard E. Willets, "Coach" on August 5, 2022, 88 years of age. Beloved husband of Janice. Loving father of Robert Willets, Patty Haddow and her husband Rob, and Peggy Wetzel and her husband Joe. Dear grandpa of Shanna Haddow, Joseph Wetzel and Jack Wetzel. Dear brother of Suzanne Rohal and her son Michael. Dick worked for many years as a teacher and basketball & tennis coach for Northport High School, in his retirement he went on to become a Certified Tennis Pro and went on to work for years as a tennis instructor. Visiting Nolan Funeral Home, 5 Laurel Avenue, Northport, NY, Thursday 2-5 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass Friday 11:00 am at St. Philip Neri Church, Northport, burial to follow at the Parish Cemetery.
