Aw so sorry to see this. Ms Sharlun was such a wonderfully happy lady. Always enjoyed the big “hello” when seeing her. May she Rest In Peace.

My deepest condolences to her family. Jan was a shining light, and always made me feel so happy to be around her. She was one of the first friends I made in the Folk Music Society of Huntington, back in 1991 when I moved there. Jan was always kind, supportive, encouraging, fun, and generous. I will miss her, and am so grateful that she was part of my world.

When I think of Jan…
First, she would light up a room with her smile! Second, she loved people!
Third, Jan played her guitar and sang to bring joy to those around her.
From Irish tunes and children’s bible songs to Christmas favorites and patriotic sing-a-longs. I think Jan was happiest when singing. She just connected with people in an extraordinary way.
I am so thankful for her for so many more reasons…
I love and miss you and promise to take great care of your son Glen and granddaughters Gracie, Abby, and Maddy.
I’ll see you in heaven
-Trish
