Adding our Aunt Maryanne’s tribute to Cathi here because it is very heartwarming and true of my beautiful sister. Photo taken on Easter morning 2024 at the beach near me with moon out and sun about to rise celebrating the resurrection of Jesus. Cathi is with Jesus now where there is no more pain or suffering, only JOY. Hallelujah!
Deeply loving and devoted to her family, Cathi had an exquisite sensitivity to the needs of others, often putting them before her own. She was especially attuned to perceived injustice and took a strong stand in defense of fairness and compassion.
With her mastery of detail and organizational skills, Cathi was committed to doing everything as well as possible, as was evident in her beautifully managed home. No debilitating chemo treatment could keep Cathi from packing family lunches and cooking family dinners until she was confined to a Hospice bed.
Extremely practical and lacking self-pity, Cathi showed us all how to live with a terminal diagnosis in the best way possible. She lived her life on earth as fully as she could, propelled by a fierce love of her immediate and extended family. Sustained by her strong faith, Cathi felt herself held in the palm of God’s hand and yearned for eternal life. We will miss her beyond words.

Cathi and her friend Eileen invited my friend and I to dance the night away at the Night Club~DJ's Palace. She was quite a dancer with her long, lean stature and her waist length straight hair. She was my idol! How kind, just dating my brother at the time, yet invited his little sister out. My first visit to a Tanning Salon, our trip to Ft. Lauderdale, Jazzercise classes, her Manhattan hand me downs. Backgammon, Centerport Beach, Amazing Bowler!!! I could go on and on............. Sister in law and friend, forever in my heart. xoxoxoxo

So true, Mikki! Thank you for sharing these great memories. Your brother, Andy, was quite the dancer too. Cathi and I were at a Lady Queen of Martyrs sponsored dance with Andy years ago and the two of them dominated the floor with their moves.
