I want to share my deep gratitude for Dr. Gennaro. When he was diagnosed with cancer, I was devastated. My experience as his patient began unexpectedly. I was undergoing a surgery unrelated to Dr. Gennaro’s specialty, which was supposed to be a quick procedure. However, I woke up in the ICU in intense pain, unaware of what had happened. When I opened my eyes, I saw a well-dressed man with a bow tie introducing himself as a vascular surgeon specialist. He explained that my right leg artery had been accidentally cut during the surgery. He mentioned that I was fortunate because he was about to leave for the day, but was still in the parking lot when the emergency occurred. He informed me that I had only 20 minutes to live. The news was overwhelming, especially with two young children waiting for me at home. Dr. Gennaro visited me every day during my five-day hospital stay, reassuring me that I would be okay. This marked the beginning of our doctor-patient relationship five years ago. Dr. Gennaro was incredibly caring and compassionate, often reminding me that I was his youngest patient. I can't express enough how grateful I am to him and how much I will miss him. He will always have a special place in my heart. To all who knew Dr. Gennaro and to his family, Wishing you peace and comfort during this challenging time

Good evening… My dear dear Dr Mark I visualize you in the arms of our precious Savior Jesus Christ…. may watch Over us all… Eternal rest grant onto him, Lord… Let me introduce myself to you. My name is Margo Oddo and I was a patient of Dr Mark perhaps 15 years or so maybe more…. I didn’t see him often, But through the years, I do believe he became more than my doctor. He was my friend….. in February 2021 I was schedule for the carotid artery surgery which he was to perform at Huntington Hospital. I learned that the day of surgery we were burying my sister I was devastated. I had to be there. I called his office and they were kind enough to reschedule me for later that day, so I could attend the mass and the burial, and when I arrived at the hospital, I was completely shattered and broken hearted and Dr Mark came in. I remember it vividly and offered his condolences to me and my family… He was a gentleman fabulous Dr and a very dear friend again my deepest condolences to you all … love and sympathy and prayers Margo Oddo

I worked with Dr.G in his private practice for almost 6 years. During that time, I saw how devoted he was to his patients. He knew that treating his patient was just part of the picture.
